Following the success of its previous First Time Buyer Plan, Stewart Milne Homes is kicking off the New Year with a new affordable solution to help more buyers onto the property ladder in 2011.
Available with a wide variety of two, three and four bedroom homes across Scotland, the new First Time Buyer Plan offers a 90 percent mortgage, no stamp duty on selected properties and mortgage protection insurance. The plan also includes carpets, curtains, a home cinema system and a choice of furniture for a stylish start as a homeowner. Buyers also benefit from a deferred payment mortgage, which significantly reduces monthly repayments and can make buying a home a more affordable option than renting.

Meanwhile, a two bedroom apartment at Athena Grange in Prestonpans, costing £153,000, can currently be purchased with a mortgage of £122,400 with monthly repayments of around £450.
The First Time Buyer Plan also includes mortgage protection insurance and no stamp duty on properties under £250,000. In addition, the package ensures buyers can move straight into their new home with furniture for the living room, master and guest bedrooms; a plasma TV with home cinema system; carpets; curtains; light fittings and a fully fitted kitchen.
