John Slater

Group Managing Director - Homes

John Slater is Group Managing Director - Homes and joined the Board in April 2007.

John previously worked for National Housebuilder Bovis Homes for ten years and held the positions of Marketing Director, Sales & Marketing Director and was appointed Managing Director in 2002. 
 

Jonathan Fair

Managing Director

Jonathan joined the business as Managing Director in April 2012. He previously led industry body Homes for Scotland for five years as its Chief Executive, where he was well known and respected across the home building sector.

With his Design and Project Management background Jonathan has a wealth of experience in delivering high value capital and infrastructure projects.

James Crawford

Deputy Managing Director

James joined the company in 1996 as Financial Director.

James brings a wealth of experience gained from the UK private housebuilding industry over the past 20 years.

Marlyn Boal

Sales & Marketing Director

Marlyn Boal joined the company in 1996.

She has extensive experience of sales and marketing at Director level from other private housebuilders, particularly those involved in creating upmarket homes.

Stuart Henderson

Technical Director

Having qualified as an architect, Stuart joined Stewart Milne in 2001, becoming Technical Director in August 2007

Responsible for both architectural and engineering design, Stuart incorporates his design training and experience into every development.

Ian Craig

Commercial Director

Ian returned to Stewart Milne in October 2007 as Commercial Director, responsible for the division's commercial delivery.

Ian, formerly a Quantity Surveyor, has over 32 years experience in the industry, holding both senior and director positions within both private housing and construction markets.

Gavin Loudon

Managing Director, Stewart Milne Holdings

Gavin joined Stewart Milne in 1996.

Formerly MD of several other housebuilding companies, he is now MD of the long term land arm, where he is responsible for securing and promoting new land for long-term residential development. 

Steve Loomes

Managing Director - Strategic Land

Steve spent time in strategic land acquisition and management with a Plc, before joining Stewart Milne Homes as Land Director.

With over 10 years experience in the sector, Steve was appointed as Managing Director of Strategic Land in 2010.

Steve is responsible for operational and strategic land acquisition and management for the Homes division. 

Gary Milne

Land Director

Gary joined the Group in 2001 with the benefit of six years construction sector experience with Arup & Partners and Bovis Lend Lease respectively following graduation as a Civil Engineer.

A Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Gary was appointed to the Board in 2010 and, as Land Director for the division, is responsible for the identification, appraisal and delivery of operational (short term) land opportunities across Central Scotland.

Scott McLeary

Construction Director

Scott McLeary has been in the construction industry since leaving school, a joiner to trade he progressed into management in his twenties and has procured a wealth of experience in the house building industry over the years working with several high profile PLCs.

Scott was employed by Stewart Milne some 10+ years ago, leaving to progress his career and we are delighted that he returned in 2009 in the role as Construction Director.
