Before we purchased our new home people said that the rooms would be small and the finishings would be badly done… but they couldn’t have been more wrong. We have much more space than in our old new home and the finish is of a really high standard. Thank goodness we didn’t listen! We love the layout of our new home It’s a really unusual layout, which is what we like about our new home. It’s split level, a two-floor property but over three levels. We especially like having a big kitchen. It’s enabled us to turn our dining room into a family room, with the main living room upstairs as well. We have so much more space here than in our old home. We’d bought a new home before and it had no cupboards or vanity units, but with our new home from Stewart Milne we have so much more space. The views are unbelievable We have stunning views of Bennachie that we see daily and our large garden is perfect for our 3-year old daughter to play in. The price is appealing as well We wanted to stay in the area, but it was the price that first attracted us specifically to Wellside Brae. Stewart Milne have a “growing families” offer which really appealed. We were looking at other developments in the area, but they simply couldn’t compete with this house. The staff are so friendly The team here are much more approachable than others I’ve encountered, much less snobby. They make it really easy for you and everything is explained thoroughly. All the information about the appliances was waiting for us in the house along with a welcome pack on the day we moved in, and although we have been here for two months now, the sales lady still pops in to see how we are getting on. We’d not bought a new house before and I was concerned that there’d be a snagging list as long as your arm or delays in moving in… but the move has gone better than expected. In fact, the whole thing has been absolutely wonderful. Every step of the way, it’s been so easy. Stewart Milne has been very good at keeping me informed. From pre-sales to getting the keys, nothing has gone wrong at all. I’m surprised, really, at just how easy it’s been. Everything’s been very straightforward. Stewart Milne offers good deals. For the number of bedrooms you get and the size of the house, it’s good value for money. I particularly like the fact that I have both a garage and an en-suite. I didn’t have to compromise by having to choose between the two. The house has more than met my expectations; I’ve not been disappointed at all. It’s set in the countryside, a lovely rural setting, but it’s not too far to the town. I now have a 20-minute commute to work, which is hard to beat. The staff have been genuinely helpful and attentive. In my experience they exceed your expectations. For instance, the site manager’s given me extra turf and even arranged for it to be put down for me, which he didn’t have to do. In fact, the sales representative even appeared with home bakes on moving-in day. You’re not left on your own if things need sorting out. I would absolutely recommend Stewart Milne, 100%. It’s because the whole process has been so positive and easy. It’s really flowed and the people have been so helpful. The house also represents tremendous value for money. That’s why I would recommend.
