“Winterley Gardens feels like a quiet and peaceful, rural village, not like a new development with millions of houses everywhere you look.”
“It has the nice finishing touches that you don’t usually expect.”
It certainly doesn’t feel like all the houses are on top of each other, and they’ve taken the time to add green space to the development. There’s a park going through the back, a small playground, plenty of flower beds and all the trees have been left at the front of the development. The communal space is quite nice, and we feel like we’re part of the village as they’ve connected us to the bridge here. It’s nice and quiet and everybody is friendly.
“Initially, we were worried because we’d heard horror stories about new build houses, but we didn’t have any problems at all.”
A quick inspection was done and what was important was that we felt like we were listened to. Although there were a few small issues that popped up, they were dealt with effectively. Everything was sorted out really quickly.
I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes...
...because I think the whole process was hassle free and the house quality against other developers is better than what we have seen.

We know it's going to be quite a small development with just one hundred houses, but the biggest thing for us was the surroundings. There is woodland nearby, and Hill Top Grange was designed in a way that complimented the surrounding area. There’s also a river and there will be a pathway that leads into the woods. It will be nice to take our family down there in the future.

“We love our little street; there are only so many houses on it so it’s lovely, quiet and not crowded.”
“When you first drive onto the development the houses look quite small, but as soon as you go inside, they’re bigger than you think.”
Moving from a flat, it’s nice to have a house and a garden looking out onto a pond. That makes it more private. We moved from an area with a lot of busy, main roads, and it’s great that it’s not like that here. I love when my daughter goes out to play, and before I didn’t trust the roads enough to be able to allow her to go out. Here, all the pathways are connected all the way round the development, so there’s only one small crossing to take when she sees her friends. That gives me great peace of mind. That fact it’s a building site was also a concern before we moved, but even though they are working four houses down from us we can only hear the odd noises. There’s nothing that would affect us living here.
I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes...
...because they are good houses which are a good size and in a good, quiet location.

From first meeting the sales consultant, to moving in and dealing with the site manager, everyone at Viewforth Rise has been willing to help and they really couldn’t have made me feel anymore welcome.’
‘My house feels very spacious and it’s a home that will suit me for some time to come.’
I lived on the adjacent estate and when I saw they were building at Viewforth Rise, I was keen to have a look. I wanted a bigger house and moving here has been quite a change for me. The house ticks all of my boxes, it’s a lovely place to live and it feels like a proper home. It was also quite affordable and with the variety of designs here there’s something for everyone to choose from. The homes have a bit of an individual feel to them and a lot have garages, for those that don’t, there’s a parking space so everyone has a place to park their car. As an extra bonus, it’s a quiet place to be and with no through traffic, it’s very safe for children.
‘From where I live, I’ve got some cracking views across the River Forth.’
It’s a lovely location, with some good views and Bo’ness isn’t that far away. There are quite a few primary schools in the immediate area, as well as a secondary school, so it’s a great place for families to settle. The first purpose built cinema in Scotland, which opened in 1912, is nearby and there are a few shops as well. It’s also nice to have the Bo’ness and Kinneil steam railway right on my doorstep. I was worried there would be a lot of construction traffic as work is taking place on two sites but that hasn’t really been an issue at all. Building is done during the day so by the time people come home from work, everything is nice and quiet, it certainly hasn’t stopped me from enjoying my new home. The homes are well constructed and once the development is complete and the roads mono blocked, it looks like it’s going to be a friendly and welcoming place to live.
‘From the time I met the sales team, things went well.’
They were helpful, especially when it came to choosing my options. Since I’ve moved in, I’ve not been afraid to contact the site manager if I’ve come across any problems. Nothing has been too big or small an issue for the guys on site and the team has even been upfront and pointed out snags themselves which I thought was very honest and something of lot of other developers wouldn’t do.
I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes...
...because the houses they build are good quality and the people they have working for them know how to look after their customers.

“Den View is a good place to bring up a family.”
“It’s just the right size and it’s in a good area.”
It’s not a massive estate, it’s limited to fifty new homes, and all of the houses are nicely finished and with good views. Within a ten-minute walk we have access to excellent nursery facilities and schools and that’s going to be ideal for us in the spring and summer.
I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes...
...because I've had a good experience so far and the house is good quality.
