The wide open spaces allow a lot of room
We don’t feel closed in at all living here. Right opposite our house there is a public plot of land that gives a lovely, peaceful and tranquil feel to the development. We looked at a few developments before we decided this was right for us, but when we drove through the development it looked well cared for, clean and tidy.
It’s completely different to where we used to live
Jersey Fields has been well put down and well laid out. The house types are mixed with different colour roofs, so it’s interesting and not all the same. We’re having a path put in at the end of our road, which means we have direct access to the main road and it will be quicker to walk than drive into the local town.
Living here has made a great difference to my life
I came from quite a different estate in Kent, where I had to walk 25-30 minutes to get to the nearest shop, but here there is a Tesco, a post office and a restaurant within a 5 minute walk. I am now walking in open spaces, rather than having a block of flats in front of me. Everyone on the development is really friendly and this has made a huge difference to our living.

…Because I bought a new home from a different company 3 years ago, and this process has been so smooth and easy in comparison. The finish here is so much better and I can’t praise Stewart Milne enough. We’ve been kept informed throughout and even now the staff will say “hello” and see how we are getting on, which is great.

The location is perfect for getting to work
We’re able to access to the outside world from the development, which makes getting to work a lot easier for me. The M6 and the main roads are close by, whereas before I lived in a rural area and it took me 15-20 minutes before I even came on to a main road. The location is perfect, it’s very quiet here, even with the freight train line behind us, and we’re located on the edge of the nearest town.
Our home is in a really nice area
The location of our home on the development is really nice. We like our neighbours, the surroundings are nice and we’re situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. The quality is really good here, in terms of the build quality on the development as well. The builders have been helpful in taking our rubbish away and they’ve been really helpful addressing the early issues we had.
The communal area really stands out
As you drive in to Jersey Fields there is a communal area for all of the residents to use. It looks good when you drive in and it has a community feel to it. It’s been designed well, especially the moat feature around it which drains away any standing water.

… because the build quality and the design of the estate are very good, as well as being very helpful in getting the benefits and upgrades we needed. They were very helpful after the completion day.

Everything went smoothly and everyone has been so helpful…
The representatives we dealt with on site have been extremely helpful throughout the whole process. If ever we had any questions they were always available to help and even now since we have moved in we are able to contact them about anything we need to. Even the financial advisors made available to us were excellent. We have felt supported throughout the whole purchase.
There is so much space here, compared to other new builds
The general layout and set up is very good. The home and the development as a whole have been built with the customer in mind. You don’t get that ‘squashed in’ feeling you can sometimes get on new developments, there is room to breathe. We have a young family and we definitely feel the home offers us all the space we need, with room to grow.
Everything is absolutely fabulous
I would recommend Stewart Milne as everything is going really well. Now that the builders have moved to another part of the site it feels like the estate is coming together and we really look forward to raising our family here.
