Education

The small town of Sandbach enjoys a range of excellent education opportunities. Primary education is served by three local schools, and secondary education is available at Sandbach School – one of the first free schools to be established in England – and Sandbach High School and sixth form college, the only all-girls’ high school in Cheshire. Both of these secondary schools received “Outstanding” status in the latest OFSTED report. Further education is also available at nearby Mid-Cheshire college, and two campuses of Manchester Metropolitan University are also close by in Crewe and Alsager.
