Having never bought a new home before, it was an unknown quantity. I was especially concerned about the snagging because, being new, the house wasn’t tried and tested…

But I needn’t have worried; I absolutely love our new home. It’s great!

A lot of thought’s been put into the design.
The design is really good. It suits our needs so well. I think they’ve utilized the space really cleverly; it’s really well thought out. All the rooms are nice and large. The house is bright and airy. I especially like the kitchen and the appliances. I chose the same kitchen as the one in the show home, because you can tell that someone’s really thought about it. Someone’s taken a lot of time to think about what sanitary ware will suit the house. It really helps make a house a home.

The development’s well thought out as well.
The development’s well thought out. We’re in a cul de sac so there’s no through traffic. It’s got a good mixture of houses, some big, some small, which leads to a good mix of people as well.

The staff can’t do enough for you.
The staff have been really helpful, especially Tony and the site manager, Charlie; they’ve been absolutely fantastic. I have a disabled daughter and the whole point in moving was to find a house that was suitable for her. We’ve had a lift put in and Charlie was really helpful in getting plans and telling us what was what so that we could cut through walls etc. He’s always about on site and will check just to see if everything’s OK.

I would certainly recommend Stewart Milne; in fact, I already have.
I recommended Stewart Milne to a friend of mine just because the move has worked out so well for us. My friend saw my house and was impressed with it. She, like me, loves its space and versatility.
