Welcome to

Worden View, Chorley

Welcome to Worden View. Make yourself at home.

Worden View benefits from being so close to the exciting new Buckshaw Village with its plethora of brand new facilities, together with a Tesco food store and railway station, and yet Worden View is also so close to the more established village of Euxton hosting a number of good quality and varied eateries. The nearby towns of Chorley and Leyland provide a good selection of amenities and restaurants and public houses.

The brand new Buckshaw Parkway railway station is within easy reach, providing regular direct services to Manchester and Preston. There are wide choices of local authority schools including infant, primary and secondary within the surrounding areas, whilst Runshaw College is just a short drive from the development.

The development benefits from excellent road and rail connections. Junction 28 of the M6 is just a mile from the development whilst junction 8 of the M61 is little more than 2 miles, providing road users with easy access to most destinations throughout the North West and entire motorway network thereafter.

Worden View is a stunning new development comprising a distinctive collection of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom family inspired homes.

Mr Davenport

THE MINUTE WE SAW OUR PROPERTY AT WORDEN VIEW, WE KNEW WE WANTED IT…

We love the layout and design of the estate, the design of the houses and how quiet it is on the development…
Our home is the perfect size and individual to us; we love the development. The block paving on the driveways is attractive and we love that some of the brickwork has a white chalk colour and some is darker. Each roof is a different colour and it makes everything look different. Also we enjoy our walks around the quiet estate in the evenings. It’s nice to be away from the main road, which contributes to the peacefulness.

The development is still in progress, but Stewart Milne Homes takes great care and everything is done to a high standard…
I’m very happy with everything they’ve done so far including the landscaping. The finish on the development is very high in terms of the standard of build so there is very little in terms of snagging; anything that needs doing is responded to very quickly and put right. I have a number of friends in the building trade who looked at the brickwork before I purchased and they could tell by the alignment of the bricks how good the person was that built it. Even now they take care to ensure the development is clean and tidy while they build. The street cleaners come twice a day to make sure the dust is swept out.

I’ve lived in the area for the last 25 years and I knew I wanted to stay here…
Aside from the fact that I have friends and family in the area, I love the sense of community in the area. I’m a member of the local golf club and we enjoy the many local pubs and restaurants on offer. It’s great to go out for a meal here and there’s a lot to do.

I’d definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes…
… because of the service I received and the quality and standard of the build of the house.
Mr Kevin Owers

Living at Worden View, we get the best of both worlds with the Woodland and Green areas close by…

There is a real countryside feel to this development…
Behind us is an ancient woodland area, which was the biggest selling point for us. It looks pleasant and it has deer and other wildlife living in it. The woodland made a difference with it being a new estate, and we’re also in a green belt area so we know it won’t be built on in the future.

We have everything we want…
The Lake District is 35 minutes up the motorway and there are half a dozen supermarkets within 3 miles. There are shops and parks nearby. Two of the country parks are within a mile and a half, one of which is on our doorstep. We can walk to it from the dedicated footpath on the estate.

Moving here has saved me money…
We’re close to a lot of things in terms of having the motorway on our doorstep, and yet we’re not in an urban area. From a practical point of view, I used to spend a fortune on petrol when I lived out in the countryside. Having everything on my doorstep on this development makes it easier, quicker and saves me money.

I would definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes…
I haven't really got any complaints, it was a good experience and it went fairly smoothly. All the staff were really nice, polite and helpful towards us, and the houses are good value in comparison to the competition.
Mrs Susan Booth
Worden View maybe one of Stewart Milne’s smaller developments, but it’s peaceful, quiet and has good links into the local areas…

We really like the area

It’s really small, compact and the estate is very nice. We really like the people here and the guys’ onsite are trying to take care of us by cleaning the muddy roads each night. It has a good feel amongst the residents. There is a really good standard of build amongst the different house types and everything was outlined to us at the start about the type of street lighting and where the local amenities are.

Worden View ticked all of the boxes

The development is smaller in proximity and it’s out in the countryside, so it’s peaceful and quiet, but it’s still accessible to the motorway and the town centre. The landscaping of the gardens is beautiful and the area is very nice. The walled gardens are a really nice feature of the development, and it adds privacy to the plot. It ticked all of the boxes for us.

I would definitely recommend Stewart Milne Homes…

…because of the way they dealt with us, everything ran smoothly and any problems were dealt with straight away. The whole team has been excellent. Their representatives will go that extra mile to welcome and attend to new home buyers requests.
Paul Power

I have settled in very nicely to my new Stewart Milne Home, and that is thanks to the staff I have dealt with onsite…
The site manager and his team have looked after us very well, and they are always happy to help with anything we need straight away. It’s not just them, but the sales advisor and the other guys who work onsite are always willing to help and nothing is too much bother for them. I cannot speak highly enough of Martin Starkey, the site manager, and Susan, the sales advisor.

The homes are of a good quality
Stewart Milne builds good quality homes. I am enjoying the space, the layout and the fact the houses aren’t crammed in, which is what I love most about my new home. The site certainly has an ‘open’ feel to it.

I would certainly recommend Stewart Milne
It’s the quality of the house itself and the dealings we’ve had with the staff. It has been second to none and the process was quite simple. There are always concerns about things going wrong, but any concerns I had have been addressed
