Earlier this year we unveiled our new Villages range of homes, which have been designed to meet the ever-changing needs of homeowners.
Here’s what she had to say….
“Upon arrival at the Cove Bay, Aberdeen Stewart Milne site, I pulled up beside the stunning Farnham show home; a large attractive 4 bedroom detached family home with an integral garage.
“From the moment I stepped through the front door I was overwhelmed by how attractive and appealing the space was. As far as entrance halls go, this is one of the most stunning I have seen with so many design possibilities.
“It has great access to all areas of the home and is spacious and well positioned. Within the hall there is also a handy understairs cupboard which is a great utilisation of space and is a fantastic way to hide away any unwanted shoes!
“Leading off the hall is a stunning large living room space that has a huge window maximising all the natural light that I immediately fell in love with. There is plenty of room for large sofas and extra furniture pieces within the room.
“As you walk through the beautiful hall you are greeted by the jaw dropping kitchen/dining space. This is a real showstopper and will definitely be the centre of the home. A room that is equipped for family, dinner parties and has access to the garden through the French doors, a winner all round!
“The kitchen comes equipped with integrated AEG appliances including fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher and there is an abundance of worktop space and storage.
“Leading off from the dining area is a large utility space with room for both a washing machine and tumble dryer with a built-in sink and extra cupboard for storage- essential to have a space for the never-ending washing piles!
“The utility also has a back door with access to the garden. There is a handy little downstairs toilet beside the utility, always nice to have a loo downstairs and added bonus that it has a window in for extra light!
“As I headed upstairs, I was greeted with a large landing space that has access to all rooms. The master bedroom can only be described as the dream #bedroomgoals!
“Not only is it especially large, it also comes with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite… every girl’s dream! The master bedroom also boasts a three-pane window which floods the room with natural light and the en-suite has a vanity unit with storage space! Everything about this room just screams luxury!
“The remaining three bedrooms are all great sizes and shapes and utilise space amazingly. The possibilities for design and room purpose are endless which makes the home even more appealing and practical for everyday living.
“The family bathroom is situated in the centre of the landing and is once again a large space with the added bonus of having both a bath and a separate shower space- super handy for those busy morning scrambles to get out the door!
“There are also two cupboards upstairs for extra storage space which you can use to store towels and bedding, or you could do what I do and hide general clutter in them before guests arrive!
“Although I was only visiting for the day, I genuinely felt sad to leave as I had already mentally planned how I would use the space and decorate if I were living there! Overall, the home is stunning and spacious and has a lovely natural flow throughout due to its fantastic layout.
“In keeping with Stewart Milne Homes’ high standards, this home really has the wow factor! The finishes and attention to detail throughout the house is spot on and would be an ideal family home.”
