Modern Apprenticeships

Are you interested in joining Stewart Milne Group as an apprentice? There are  a wealth of skills and trades you can learn and we’ll support you to gain the experience you need to take the first steps in a successful career. Indeed, there are many people who joined us as apprentices and have become senior managers or directors.

Trade apprenticeships with us involve training on site and at college during the first three years, giving you the right mix of technical and practical skills. You’ll then complete your fourth year on site. For your “at work” training you’ll be assigned a journeyman – an experienced tradesman who will be your mentor. They will work with you to develop your skills and confidence in your chosen role. Apprenticeship training also enables you to earn while you’re learning.
