Go Ape in Delamere Forest, is another great active day out with all manner of Treetop Adventures, zip lines and Tarzan Swing drops. The forest also has lovely easy access walking trails for those who want to enjoy some woodland wanders.
For youngsters aged five and over, Kidsgrove Ski Centre in nearby Stoke On Trent has an 85 metre slope and offers lessons for beginners and taster sessions for newbies.
For Harry Potter fans, Northwich Arly Hall and Gardens has A Forbidden Forest Experience with loads of fun for budding wizards of all ages and the chance to meet some unusual forest creatures.
Crewe Station, one of the West Coast Main Line’s major junctions, is just minutes from Wistaston, acting as a gateway to North West England and providing connections for passengers travelling both north and south.
