East Linton has excellent road connections, being just minutes from the A1 which leads West to Edinburgh or East to Dunbar.

There is a bus service approximately every 30 minutes reaching either Edinburgh or Dunbar and efficient train links at Drem and Dunbar for onward connections. There is also a good local path network and quiet country roads for walking and cycling.

  • National Museum of Flight is less than 3 miles away and provides a whole host of things to see and do. At this former airfield, you can explore the history of aviation from the First World War to the present day and see amazing aircraft, including Scotland's Concorde. With interactive exhibitions and supersonic experiences, this is one of Europe's best collections of aircraft and a great day out for the family.
  • Hailes Castle is a 5 min drive and is hidden away in the pretty valley of the River Tyne. One of Scotland’s oldest stone castles, it dates from the early 1200s.
  • East Links Holiday Park is a 20 acre small farm, which provides a fun and safe environment for families to enjoy a day out. Train safari, crazy golf, farm animals, go karting, soft play and much much more can be found only 10 minutes away at the premier visitor attraction in the area.

  • Gullane Golf Club was host to the 2018 Scottish Open and this renowned location is just 20 mins away. The club is one of Scotland's most prestigious and is blessed with superb turf and a climate that allows all year round golf.
